Mrs. Livingston has been employed as a care manager with Proeger & Associates since November 2005.
Mrs. Livingston was an assistant professor of nursing in the Health Sciences Department of State College of Florida (formerly MCC) from 1996 to 2010. Her duties included supervision of nursing students, assuring that plans of care were developed, implemented, and monitored, as well as teaching the nursing process.
Prior to that, Mrs. Livingston worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with Sarasota Psychiatric Group (1988-1996), providing assessments of cognitive function and monitoring patients’ treatment, medications, and progress. She also held a faculty position at Sarasota County Technical Institute.
Before moving to Sarasota in 1971, Mrs. Livingston worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, and at the VA hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She also worked as a Registered Nurse at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
She received the MCC Vice President's Award for Teaching Excellence in May 2005.
Mrs. Livingston has worked as a care manager for Proeger & Associates, a care management agency, since 2005. In addition to care management services, she provides consultation on cases. Mrs. Livingston has a master’s degree in nursing and is licensed as a nurse (RN) with the State of Florida.
